Currency/Travelers Checks

Associated Bank's Foreign Currency services are available through our more than 250 branch locations throughout Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota.

With access to in-house inventories of over 25 different currencies, Associated Bank can deliver most currencies to any of our branch locations overnight for a nominal fee. Various foreign currencies are available the same day at our Green Bay, Milwaukee and Madison locations.

To place an order for either foreign currency or foreign currency-denominated travelers checks, please contact your local Associated Bank branch with the details of your order. We will determine the U.S. Dollar equivalent of the currency order by utilizing the daily established exchange rate and the available denominations.

Associated Bank can also buy back most foreign currency from a customer. Again, please contact your local branch for the exchange rate and U.S. Dollar equivalent. Due to the excessive shipping costs involved in handling coin, we cannot buy back foreign coin.
